Help your school

Let’s pay back

The economy stinks. We all see it around us - the potholes are getting bigger, the unemployment lines longer and the government keeps raising taxes and fees.  It's hitting our state government especially hard and the Department of Education has to cut an already too-small budget. As usual, school maintenance is a big target. Things are bad at some schools and Roosevelt High School is showing its age. The Class of '69 spent a lot of years at RHS and everyone can be proud of the education and life experiences gained there. It's time to pay back.

Since our 30th Class Reunion, you, through the Reunion Committee, have donated $1969 worth of concrete benches and tables. Another $3,938 from both the 35th and 40th reunions has been set aside and will be donated in material and labor cost to improve our school.

Our Alma Mater, needs your help. We are asking everyone to make a pledge once each year for 5 years. Just one small donation once a year to reach our goal to raise a minimum of $19,690. The money will be donated to our school at our 45th Class Reunion.

Please fill out a pledge card. Just click the picture of the form to open and then print it out and send it to the address on the card. We’re not asking much because the Class of ’69 as a whole will add to a lot. Skip a couple of trips through Starbucks or throw a buck or two in a jar every day.

Join your classmates in pledging to get involved to help our school for the kids of tomorrow.
