RHS'69

This is a rolling blog. It will be updated daily as they check out Italy and Spain. New stuff will be posted as it comes in.

Check back often.

Let's get the obvious out of the way...

Vincent, Wendy and another couple are going on a cruise in the middle of this pandemic?

We'll let him explain.

Our main plan after docking in Naples is to visit Pompeii.

Plans always change as we decided to first spend a day in Sorrento. It's a coastal town in southwestern Italy, facing the Bay of Naples on the Sorrentine Peninsula.

Sorrento has sweeping water views and Piazza Tasso, a cafe-lined square. The historic center is a nest of narrow alleys that's home to the Chiesa di San Francesco, a 14th-century church.

Tomorrow is Pompeii.

Really.
