The Gates to Heaven are

Now Open

The man who produced the now famous video "Missing Japan" has been released from his prison.

No, they haven't caught him for ...you know...yet. We're talking about the long drought of Tomodachi Tours to his favorite land because of covid.

The walls are down, Japan is inviting folks again and

Bobby Imoto is back in his

happy place.

Our luggage is being shipped ahead to our next hotel so we jump on our bus to the Kyoto station.

Time to ride the Bullet Train and depart for Tokyo. Once there we'll walk to the bus depot get our ride to the Tsukiji Outer Market.

Afterwards it's off to great omiyage area, Ameya Yoko-cho, for more shopping.  Then we head back to our original hotel in Odaiba at the Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba.

Dinner will be somewhere in the area, our choice.

Bobby Imoto, who got everyone together for this tour, watches over his brood.

Waiting for the Bullet Train.

In Japan trains are very punctual. They're just early...or lost.

As we get close to the end, we'll leave our hotel to Asakusa or vice versa on the Sumida River.

We also plan on using the Yurikamome (monorail) that travels from our hotel to the Shimbashi training station.  One of our previous Tomodachi tours used this ferry and were able to enjoy traveling under the 15 bridges between both locations, including the famous Rainbow Bridge near our hotel.  Each bridge that we pass is of a different color and architectural style. Not this time though.

Our Sayonara Dinner will be held at the hotel for everyone.

Top of the priority list this morning - shopping.  Here we are at the Yurikamome monorail station at Daiba Hotel headed to the Shimbashi train station.  From there we needed to take the subway to Asakusa to visit the temple and Nakamise shopping area.

It was a chore to purchase tickets and navigate through the busy train station.

There's the temple.

Let's go shopping!
